The YEGByrds

The YEGByrds are a group of seasoned Edmonton musicians who simply love bringing great music to life. Our sound is a blend of the songs we grew up with and the classics that never go out of style—from the smooth lounge vibes of Ella Fitzgerald and Norah Jones to the upbeat, brass-filled energy of The Beatles and Chicago.

At Heart, We are a Community Band.

Whether we are performing at a large summer festival, a local Community League fundraiser, or an intimate afternoon at a Senior’s residence, we take pride in connecting with our audience. We love the "big band" sound a full horn section brings, but we also value the small moments—playing the favorites people know by heart and putting our own soulful stamp on them.

We’re proud to be part of the YEG music community. We aim to be professional, easy to work with, and above all, a band that brings a little extra joy to every stage we’re invited to share.
